Travel insurance · health · peace of mind

Travel insurance & health, made simple.

Cover that pays out and a trip that goes smoothly both come down to understanding the details before you go. Traveliase gives you free, jargon-free tools to work out the cover you need and prepare for a healthy trip — so you can travel with genuine peace of mind.

What we help with

Protected, prepared, and clear on the details

No sales pressure — just clear information so you can make a confident choice and buy from a provider you trust.

🛡️ The right cover

Understand what travel insurance actually covers, the add-ons that matter for your trip, and the exclusions that catch people out.

🩺 Travel health

Vaccinations, medication abroad, the GHIC and what it does (and doesn't) cover, and a checklist to prepare properly.

Fewer nasty surprises

Declaring conditions, checking limits and excesses, and the small print — so a claim is far more likely to be paid.

Important: Traveliase provides general information and tools to help you compare and prepare — not advice. We are not an insurance broker or financial adviser, and we don't sell insurance. Always read the policy wording and buy from a provider authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Frequently asked questions

What travel insurance cover do I actually need?

Most travellers want emergency medical and repatriation, cancellation, baggage and personal liability, with add-ons for activities, gadgets or pre-existing conditions. Our cover checker shows what to look for based on your trip — then compare FCA-authorised providers.

Does Traveliase sell insurance?

No. We provide general information and free tools, not advice, and we're not an insurance broker. We help you understand what to look for; you buy from FCA-authorised providers. We may earn a commission on some links, always disclosed — see our disclosure.

Is the GHIC the same as travel insurance?

No. A UK Global Health Insurance Card can help with some state healthcare in Europe, but it isn't a substitute for travel insurance, which covers repatriation, cancellation, lost baggage and more. The GHIC is free and only available from the official NHS website — never pay a third-party site for it.

Why do travel insurance claims get refused?

Common reasons include undeclared pre-existing conditions, an activity not covered by the policy, exceeding cover limits, or not following the claims process. Reading the wording and declaring everything honestly hugely improves your chances.
