About Traveliase
We help people travel protected and prepared — by making travel insurance and travel health genuinely easy to understand, with no sales pressure.
Our mission
Travel insurance is sold to millions of people who never read the wording — until they need to claim, and discover a gap they didn't know was there. Travel health is much the same: easy to put off, occasionally costly to get wrong. Traveliase exists to fix the understanding gap. We explain what cover means, what to check, and how to prepare for a healthy trip, in plain English and with free tools — so you can make a confident decision and buy from a provider you trust.
How we stay honest about money
The site is free, supported in part by affiliate links: if you click through to a provider and buy, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's the whole arrangement. We don't take payment to recommend specific policies, we don't publish pay-to-rank tables, and a commission never changes the information we give. Where a page contains affiliate links, we say so — the detail is on our disclosure page.
What we are — and importantly, aren't
Traveliase provides general information and free tools. We are not an insurance broker, an insurer, or a financial adviser, and nothing here is insurance, medical or financial advice. We don't sell insurance or arrange policies. When you're ready to buy, you do so directly with a provider that is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), under their terms. Our role is to help you understand the choices before you get there.
Our tools, and your privacy
The cover checker and health checklist run entirely in your browser. The answers you give aren't sent to us or stored on a server — the results are generated on your own device. Your health and trip details are nobody's business but yours.
Part of a small travel network
Traveliase is one of a few independent travel sites we run, each focused on a different part of the journey. Our sister sites Bookero and Koktra cover booking for less and finding where to go.
