Travel Health Checklist
A healthy trip starts before you leave. Tell us a little about your journey and we'll build a tailored, tickable checklist of the documents, health steps and preparation to sort — so nothing important slips through.
Where are you travelling?
Taking prescription medication?
Any pre-existing medical conditions?
Your tailored checklist will appear here. It's built from simple rules — no data leaves your device.
Your answers stay on your device — nothing is sent to us.
This is a general preparation checklist, not medical or travel advice. Health risks, vaccination recommendations and entry rules vary by destination, your health and the time of year — always check official travel-health and government sources, and speak to a pharmacist, GP or travel clinic about your personal needs, ideally several weeks before you travel.
A few things worth knowing
- The GHIC is free and only available from the official NHS website. It helps with some state healthcare in Europe but is not a replacement for travel insurance.
- Leave time for vaccinations. Some need to be given weeks before travel, or come as a course — check early.
- Carry medication properly. Keep it in your hand luggage, in its original packaging, with a copy of your prescription, and check it's legal at your destination.
- Declare conditions to your insurer. It's the surest way to be properly covered if something flares up abroad.
Once your health prep is sorted, make sure your cover matches your trip with the insurance cover checker.
